• Frischepost

Frischepost delivers local food directly from the farmer to the urban end-consumer. The company creates extensive transparency about the origin and the manufacture of each product and achieves revolutionary freshness by eliminating intermediaries such as supermarkets and wholesalers.

“Tell me what you eat, I’ll tell you who you are.” (Anthelme Brillat-Savarin).

Food influences our health, wellbeing and daily routine and is therefore an indispensable element of our life. But where does our food come from and how is it produced? Isn’t it irrational that during summer we eat Spanish tomatoes and apples from New Zealand while at the same time the exact same products are growing in our neighborhood?

Frischepost facilitates the customer’s access to local foods and encourages a direct and personal relationship between all stakeholders involved. The company’s unique selling proposition is the revolutionary freshness of its products, achieved by short and direct transportation routes (intermediates such as supermarkets or wholesale markets are excluded from the supply chain). Additionally, Frischepost promotes maximum transparency by creating a direct relationship between customer and producer. Each individual product “tells its own story” and can be traced back to its concrete origin. Frischepost is the transparent bridge between producers and consumers.

On top, Frischepost only incorporates responsible producers into its local food network, namely producers taking ethical and ecological factors into account during plantation, production and farming. Thereby, the company goes beyond selling products – the mission is to change the customer’s mind-set and positively influence society and environment.
