    With the help of Companion2go people with and without disabilities travel or visit public events together. They overcome barriers and share a ticket. The aim of this app is to make traveling and visiting public events easier for both parties and to increase their social interaction at the same time.

     

    Companion2go is a social network that allows people with and without disabilities, social institutions and associations to get in contact and profit from each other. The App provides all common features of a social network. This promotes the communication between people with and without disabilities, creates a certain transparency and develops a level of trust before the joint activities. Later the users travel together (in pairs or in a group) and/or visit events – while they share one ticket.


    How does that work? Under certain circumstances a person with disabilities is allowed to take a companion on a trip or to a public event for free. That accompanying person can help the disabled to overcome possible barriers on the way. This is the basis for the concept of Companion2go.
