Bantabaa FoodDealer

Bantabaa is Mandinka, a language mainly spoken in Western Africa, and means `meeting-point´. Founded in Berlin in 2015, our aim is to successfully and holistically integrate refugees and make them part of our community.
In order to achive these goals it needs work and jobs which is why we have conceptualized the training program Bantabaa FoodDealer. Our aim is to qualify refugees either for our own catering business or for other companies of the gastronomy sector. This way, refugees get the possibility to take control over their own future again - we open up prospects.
The concept is meant to get refugees fit for the job market who have no school education or profession whatsoever. The concept is meant to prevent these people from getting involved in drug trafficking and other illegal practices to cover their costs of living. The chances of getting work permits increases strongly by participating in the training program as it offers access to jobs in gastronomy.Contact: Bea Polei, bantabaafooddealer(at)gmail.com
