Every year around half a million ton of food is wasted in German retail alone. Bananas are the most perishable product and largely contribute to this amount. Their carbon footprint is comparably high caused by their cultivation, transportation and ripening. These surplus ripe and sweet bananas are saved by us and are further processed into Fruchtstück – naturally sweet breakfast cereals. Fruchtstück actively contributes to the prevention of food waste and promotes sustainable practices in food production.
Fruchtstück does not contain any added sugar. The product is crunchy, vegan, gluten-free and does not contain any additives. It is the ideal breakfast eco-conscious and health aware consumers and their families.
