You REALLY want to live sustainably? Not pro forma but so that you demonstrably relieve nature and the environment and contribute your personal share to achieve the 1.5° goal? Then you are a potential worldwatcher =>worldwatchers is the world's first guide to MEASURABLE sustainable consumption.

Worldwatchers is a consumption concept based on the MIPS model, which makes environmental sustainability measurable based on the Resource Intensity Indicator Material Footprint (see SDG Indicator 12.2.2).

For consumers, it is possible to use an app to "track" their lifestyle and see at any time whether their consumption pattern is within or over their personal "earth budget". It enables to identify hotspots and to countersteer in the respective areas. ll consumption - living, nutrition, mobility, consumption, holiday / leisure - is here in a positive sense "shaved over a comb" and everything is presented in one unit.

This leads to transparency and comparability. The sustainability debate is thereby objectified and sustainability operationalized. The applicability is both b2c and b2b given and can be used globally. As of 6/2019, no comparable concept is known worldwide that outlined topic consistently and stringently at the product and service levels and makes an everyday practical use possible.

Important: The reduction of the material footprint causes on average an approximately proportional reduction of the CO2 footprint. The 8t target until 2050 will be compared with the 1.5° pathway of Lettenmeier et al 2019 and possibly adjusted/brought forward. The scientific basis of the concept has been developed by the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy (WI). The WI is among the TOP10 in the global think-tank ranking (subject area sustainability).
